Doris Paquette MENTOR

Doris Paquette, BA, PMP is a respected Director of Strategic Implementation with the Government of Alberta, where she has made a remarkable impact on the province’s education sector. Known for transforming strategy into measurable outcomes, Doris has played a key role in advancing projects that strengthen Alberta’s learning environments. Her expertise in capital and strategic planning continues to drive innovation, inclusion, and sustainability in education infrastructure across the province.

With over 15 years in the education sector, Doris has successfully led numerous initiatives, including the championing of safe, accessible, and inclusive play spaces for children. Her ability to bridge government, community, and industry partnerships has been instrumental in creating meaningful, lasting change.

Beyond her professional work, Doris is a passionate advocate for women in leadership, mentoring and empowering women of all ages to step confidently into influence. She is an active member of CREW Edmonton, Women in Leadership – Edmonton Chapter, and the Change for Children Association, where she continues to champion collaboration, equity, and empowerment.

Her exceptional contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 (Class of 2022) by Edify Magazine, the Healthy Community Award for Most Significant Change (2022), and recognition as a Woman of Influence (2023) by The Planner’s Magazine.
